Sabrina Lynn Justice-Dent

Sabrina Lynn Justice-Dent, the youngest daughter of Joe Green and Christina Justice, was born at Brooklyn Jewish Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, on Saturday, January 22, 1955.

She is survived by her loving children, Lisa (Dier) and Vernon (LaToraus), as well as 15 cherished grandchildren—Olivia (Rayshawn), Anntoinette, India, Justin, Sophia, DJ, Asia, London, Paris, Ebony, Rome, Kentrell, Justice, Noah, and VJ. Additionally, Sabrina leaves behind four great-grandchildren—August, Israel, Chaelyn, and A'Sia. She is also remembered by a host of siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Sabrina is now reunited with her baby boy, Spc. Darryl Thomas Dent, her parents, and several of her siblings. Throughout her life, she exhibited remarkable strength, being the first woman and woman of color to serve as a police officer for Seaboard in Northampton County, NC. She dedicated herself to serving the country in the United States Armed Forces - Army. Sabrina also achieved certification as a teacher, holding an Associate's degree in Human Services and Basic Law Enforcement. A devout believer, she loved God and was an avid student of His Word and His ways.

Her devotion to family was unparalleled. Sabrina's swift response to any call for help, her attentive listening, and unwavering support for her loved ones defined her. She was selfless, often sacrificing her own needs to ensure the well-being of her family. Her generosity knew no bounds, and she consistently put the needs of others above her own.

The void left by Sabrina's passing is profound, and her absence will be keenly felt by all who knew her. She has been a constant presence in the lives of her children, providing support through every major and minor event. As the family navigates this difficult time, they ask for thoughts and prayers, and above all, kindness towards one another. Sabrina's legacy of love, strength, and selflessness will endure in the hearts of those she touched, and her memory will be a guiding light for those who were privileged to know her.
